half way there!!!

Wow... I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by! I am already 20 weeks along which marks the half way point!!! Baby Wake is about the size of a banana right now measuring in at about 10.5 ounces and 10 inches long! I feel our baby boy moving around all day long and love it just as much as when I felt Guess move in my tummy! It never gets old! So anyways...I had winn snap a quick pregnancy picture before going into work the other day to document my half way mark! (I take pregnancy pictures every 5 weeks or so)...And of course I cannot have a post without a picture of this cute little man! We have bought some random little things for baby Wake and Guess goes and finds them and gives them loves and kisses! So stinkin' cute! So here he is hugging a couple of onesies we bought for baby Wake!We are just too excited to meet baby Wake in a few short months!

We are having ANOTHER boy!!! I am officially feeling really outnumbered now with 3 boys and 1 girl in our house! But honestly, I would not have it any other way!!! We really hoped for another boy and we cannot even explain how excited we are that baby #2 is another sweet but crazy little man! We would have been grateful for a baby boy or girl but we are just beyond excited for Guess to have a little bother to pick on...i mean play with!!! We are so grateful that baby boy #2 is healthy and everything is looking good. Our appointment was an interesting one and so I will explain after a couple of pictures! Here is the proof that there is definitely a little boy in my tummy!Our family visiting Santa at the North Pole after finding out another little boy will be joining our family in May 2012!Another picture of Wake Winn Workman (that will be his name by the way!)And this last picture is a little late seeing how I am now 18 weeks along and this is from 15 weeks but at least you can see that I am definitely starting to look pregnant. (Or maybe I just look even more fat now but I am going to say that I look pregnant instead! ha!) By the way, I now have an official due date of May 29, 2012!Ok so about our appointment real quick...we had originally planned to bring two boxes with a boy outfit in one and a girl outfit in the other because our appointment was on Dec. 20th and we wanted to wait to find out on Christmas morning! So we had the boxes all set up and everything and my Dr. was having the hardest time figuring out the gender because the umbilical cord was right between the baby's legs. So seriously more than a half hour later we still had no gender determined and my Dr. was not sure if he was going to be able to find out at this appointment. So we were a little disappointed because we really wanted to find out Christmas morning. Well as we were getting ready to leave, my Dr. told me that he forgot to ask if I wanted any pictures of the baby. I definitely wanted some pictures so we started up another ultrasound and the Dr. noticed right away that the umbilical cord had moved...unfortunately I noticed as well and kinda blurted out that it was a boy before remembering that it was suppose to be a surprise! So we knew the day of our appointment that a sweet little boy would be joining our family but we waited until Christmas to tell everyone else! Having another little boy come to our family has been all that Winn and I have been able to talk about lately. It is especially cute when I hear Winn talking to Guess and saying things like "We are going to have to teach Wake how to play baseball and swing a golf club when he comes!" or "We are going to gang up on mom and tickle her good when your little brother gets here!" It makes me laugh and love the fact that I am in a house full of boys! So bring on the baseball games and dirt because we are beyond excited to now have two little gentlemen in our family!!!

Many of you may have already heard but my wonderful and amazing husband got accepted into PT school at AT STILL University!!! This is an amazing thing because they have over 700 applicants and only 62 students who are accepted! Winn graduates from ASU in May with his Bachelor's in Exercise & Wellness and starts graduate school in August where after three long years he will have his Doctorate in Physical Therapy! Oh my goodness I cannot even express how proud I am of Winn and all of the HARD work he has had to do to get to this point in his education! He told me the other night that he can actually see a light at the end of his "schooling" tunnel but really he has not even begun the hard stuff yet! I know he has a LONG road ahead of him and I will basically be a single mom for the next three years but in the end it will all be worth it when he is a Physical Therapist! The best part about all of this is that the school is right here in Mesa, AZ and so we will not have to move across the country like we had originally planned! We are just SO thankful and blessed for this WONDERFUL opportunity! Ok, I will stop sharing my excitement now!

november 2011...

So the first part of november consisted of a trip to Flagstaff with some of our friends to visit the NAU campus and check our their physical therapy program (just in case you didn't know, Winn has been applying to PT schools around the country for the last few months). Anyways...while we were up there, our friends showed us around and we found some snow to play in!Thanks Mike and Ashley for showing us around Flagstaff and for the fun time!

Next up was Thanksgiving...we did things a little differently this year and my family celebrated Thanksgiving the night before with a dinner feast! My mom did a great job with the whole thing and it was so fun to spend time with my family. My brothers and their families were not able to make it from Utah this year and so we missed them :( maybe next time!
Guess with his "cheesy" smile!Then the next day (actual Thanksgiving day) was spent with my husband's family! Once again we had a feast and it was delicious! Guess had so much fun playing with his cousins!So funny story...Guess was suppose to be just playing with his cousins when we found him at the table eating a nice piece of pie that someone left on the table. He had no problem finishing every bite of that pie!:)On Thanksgiving day, Guess missed his nap which apparently took a toll on him! He walked over to me, sat on my belly, and fell over forward in a dead sleep! He never ever falls asleep on me so I knew he had to have been exhausted from playing all day long and skipping his nap!So both of our Thanksgiving feasts were so delicious and so much fun! Thanks to all our family for making this Thanksgiving a great one!

The next morning, Guess decided to scare mom and dad to death and wouldn't walk at all. He wouldn't even put any weight on his legs and this scared the crap out of us. So I kind of examined his little legs and realized that it was his right ankle that was causing him so much pain. We decided to take him to urgent care after we ate some breakfast, just to make sure nothing was broken. This is Guess eating some waffles with his ankle elevated...poor boy was in so much pain :(In the waiting room...like father like son reading none other than a GOLF magazine! ha... sometimes it is scary how alike these two are!So his x-rays came back perfectly fine and the dr. said it was a sprained ankle which is what we assumed in the first place. Guess was jumping on the trampoline the day before so we figured that is how he did it...The poor boy wouldn't walk at all that day and crawled everywhere! The next morning he was totally fine again...wearing daddy's shoes!Then we went to watch winn's nephew play baseball...these pics were just too cute not to post! And as you can see he is back to his normal self with no more pain in his ankle! Almost wants to make us think he was faking the whole thing and thought it would be funny to make mom and dad wait 3 hours at urgent care on dad's only friday off of work! Guess we will never know!So that was basically our november in a nutshell! Oh and I almost forgot...I also took my national boards and PASSED them!!! Whoo-hoo! Just waiting for my license to come in the mail now and I will be a legit PTA!

This is my LAST catch up post! Yay! So for halloween we did a lot of fun things this year! We carved pumpkins, went to a few different trunk-or-treats, and then went trick-or-treating after eating soup bowls (yum-yum) for dinner at my parents on halloween night! So below are just the pictures from all our festivities!

Pumpkin carving...Helping daddy clean out the pumpkin...So I had HORRIBLE allergies that night and that is why my eyes are half open/half closed...Sarah and her pumpkin...Ashley and Chad and their pumpkins...(and yes ashley is wearing one-piece footie pajamas!)Guess was so proud of the pumpkin we made!Trunk-or-Treat #1 (My sister and brother-in-laws ward)...I didn't want Guess to wear his real costume yet because it was rainy and muddy so I threw this little sparky number together in about 5 minutes. Wasn't too hard since he was sparky last year! His real halloween costume this year is later on in this post!Trunk-or-Treat #2 (Our ward)...Guess and his friend Peyton...Trunk-or-Treat #3 (My parents ward)...Guess found some popcorn on the ground and literally ate about half of that pile...gross I know!Winn wanted to see if he could still jump over Guess...luckily he still can!My dad had to have his face as the target in the pie throwing contest and my sister Ashley got him pretty good in this picture!Guess loved asking for candy from everyone!He also insisted on carrying his bucket everywhere...but as you can see it got a little too heavy with all that candy!Winn got a hold of the camera and decided he needed to take a picture of every face that he possibly knew how to make!Guess and papa!Worn out from asking for all that candy!Halloween night...we all took turns taking him up to the doors...It took five people to take one little boy trick-or-treating! Chad is cut off in this picture but thats is all of us who took Guess trick-or-treating! Winn had too much homework to do that night so he couldn't go :(The loot!So now I am officially all caught up on my blog! yay!

september/october...

September and October were pretty calm for us. Winn was just focusing on school and work and I had to study for the Jurisprudence exam which I passed! Now I just have the National Boards to pass and I will never have to take another test again! So anyways...september and october consisted on two more cabin trips, my graduation party, and of course all of our Halloween festivities! I will post about our Halloween in my next post though and then guess what??? I will FINALLY be caught up on this dang blog! So here are just a bunch of pictures from the last couple of months...

cabin trip...silly boy!family BBQ...graduation party...winn and I decided to throw a swim party for some of our family and friends to celebrate my graduation! It was so fun and the food was delicious! Thanks to everyone who helped out with the party and to mom and dad for letting us use their awesome pool and house! :)playdates with friends and cousins...another cabin trip...this time winn and i took my two sisters and brother-in-law to the cabin. So fun!!!Guess's first experience with POP ROCKS!So that was basically our september and october in a nutshell...well minus halloween but that will be my next post...and then I will be ALL caught up! Yay!

summer fun {part 2}...

So here is the post about the second half of our summer! We were able to go on a Denham family vacation to McCall, Idaho and stay in a BEAUTIFUL cabin that is right on the lake that my Aunt Stacy and Uncle Steve have! It was seriously gorgeous and one of the funnest family trips we have taken so far! Thanks so much to my awesome aunt and uncle for letting us come and spend time up there with them! They were great hosts and made the trip so relaxing and fun!

But...about a week before we were going to leave for Idaho, our little man broke his arm. He was being a little too crazy on our computer chair and fell on his outstretched hand on the tile. The kid didn't even cry that hard and so we thought he was fine...then we noticed that two days later he was still favoring his right arm pretty bad and so Winn took him into urgent care. Poor kid had a broken arm and we waited two whole days to even take him in...kinda felt bad for that! Anyways... he was able to get a cast that stayed on for three weeks and after that his arm was as good as new!

This was the picture that Winn sent me when I was working at the hospital for one of my clinical rotations and it was just about the saddest thing I had ever seen :( They had just been told that Guess broke his radius (a bone in the forearm) and the Dr. had wrapped it up until a cast could be put on...Guess was showing us how much it hurt :(This kid seriously did not act like he was about to get a cast for a broken arm...he was all smiles!Showing off his broken arm!Picking out what color cast he wanted to get...And of course he picked BLUE!They had to smash his cast on like a pancake so it would not fall off...if it did fall off, Guess would have had to get a full arm cast...All tuckered out from getting his first cast...poor boy!So about a week after Guess got his cast on, we left for our much anticipated family vacation! All of the Arizona family flew up to Idaho where both of my brothers and their families met up with us from Utah! I don't know what it is but I seriously have the best family ever! I get so excited when we can all get together cause we seriously just laugh the whole entire time! So here are a ton of pictures from our vacation to McCall, Idaho!

This place was seriously beautiful!Inside of cabin...beautiful!The view of the cabin from their dock....gorgeous!Winn loved being able to take a break from work and school...my Uncle Steve took him golfing twice and Winn was seriously in heaven! What can I say...I just love spending time with them! There were SO many fun things to do and we all had a BLAST! Can't wait for our next family vacation! :)

Although our summer (yep, i'm just barely posting about our summer...call me a slacker) consisted of a lot of school/work for both Winn and I, there was still time to enjoy some much needed vacations! With a couple trips up to my in-laws cabin and our Denham family trip to McCall, Idaho, we were able to have so much fun together as a family and able to get out of the crazy 110+ degree weather! Below are a ton of pictures of our cabin trips this last summer with a few random summer pictures as well. Oh and the next post will be about our AWESOME Idaho trip because that deserves a post all of its own!!!

So as I was doing my clinical rotations all summer long, I would get random pictures of Guess from my mom and sisters who watched him for us while I was at my clinic. It was always fun to see what crazy things Guess was up to with grandma and his aunts! :)Ok, I just really love his little buns in this picture! Ha...This one made me laugh pretty hard when I received it! My mom had that swimsuit/lifevest from years ago and thought they would try to squeeze Guess into it to go for a swim! :)Now these are all pictures from our first cabin trip of the 2011 summer!Guess did not even know we were watching him unroll the toilet paper...Then he turned around and gave us the innocent act! Chashley's Wedding!!

Did you get it?! Chad+Ashley = Chashley! Ha...I thought it was a good one! Anyways...on June 18, 2011 my sister Ashley got married! She married Chad Heywood and they are too cute together! Below are just a bunch of pictures of their big day!

Just married! Mesa, AZ Temple...Our cute boy in his wedding outfit...The newlyweds with their beautiful wedding cake...My whole family! My two brothers and their families all came down from Utah for the wedding and it was so fun to spend time with all of them. It always makes me sad when they have to leave to go back home...Cute cousins! This is Guess's closest cousin in age...exactly 6 weeks apart!All the girls of my family! Not going to lie...I kinda feel like the Khloe Kardashian of the group! (Taller and bigger than all the other girls) Ha...(Keeping up with the Kardashian's anyone...anyone?!) Call me if you have no idea what I am talking about and need an explanation!My two sisters and I...Guess with the bride...Me and the bride...Our little family with the newlyweds! (random fun fact...did you know that is my wedding dress?! Ashley liked my dress so much that she borrowed it for her wedding! Mine just had a red sash instead of the yellow one she wore! Im so glad it got more use than the one day I wore it!)What is that face?!I think our little family was done after a full day of wedding festivities in the June Arizona weather!Guess didn't even have any smiles left for the camera! ha!Congratulations Chad and Ashley! Graduation!!!

So I know I said my next post would be about my sister's wedding...but I had to post about the fact that I finally graduated!!! (sorry ash!) Whoo-hoo! Seriously, nobody is happier about this than I am...well maybe Winn and Guess cause they now have their wife/mommy back! So anyways...all I have to do now is take the national physical therapy exam (a.k.a. the boards) and I am a legit licensed PTA! And...I will never have to go to school again! That is pretty exciting if you ask me!

This is the PTA class of 2011! (The one lady on the far left and the two people on the far right are three of our teachers)It seriously feels like I have spent more time with all these people than my own family and friends this last year and a half! (By the way...sorry everyone for basically being MIA for quite a while now! Blame it on school!)Yay...so glad we are done! I made some awesome friends throughout school and hope that I can stay close with them all!I also met my good friend Mandy at orientation and all I can say is I am sure glad I had someone to go through this program with!My first day of lab...holy cow that seems like forever ago!I seriously could not have done all of this without the great support and help with babysitting from all of our family and friends! Thank you, thank you, thank you if you babysat Guess at all in the past year and a half while I have been either studying, at my internships, or at my lab weekends. Thanks to everyone again! I honestly cannot repay everyone for the service they have provided with Guess during my school. And of course...my great husband was so supportive and selfless! He always knew when I have had enough with this school business and he would be there with flowers or a neck rub or something to make me feel better! He really is the best!

All I can say is hallelujah for not having to sit at the computer for most of the day anymore, not having to go to lab all day friday, saturday, and sunday anymore, not having to stay up till all hours at night finishing assignments/papers/exams before their due dates anymore, not having to work for free during internships anymore, not having to buy any more textbooks (seriously bought almost 20 different textbooks), not having to drive to Phoenix, and FINALLY being able to be a wife/mommy again!!! Wow can you tell I am excited to be done with school?!!

Guess and I absolutely love to swim! WOW...its been a while!

So I have not updated this blog in forever! Honestly we have just been way too busy but....I am happy to announce that I have just finished my last and final week of internships for my school and so I now get to be a stay-at-home mommy again for a while! I'm just gonna say that 40 hours a week X 18 weeks is WAY too long to be away from my little man. (I had to do THREE 6-week clinical rotations in different physical therapy settings as part of my schooling) but anyways...I am now done with the work-for-free part of my schooling and have only two weekends left of classes, then have to take the boards and I will officially be a PTA!!! And more importantly be completely done with school! So anyways...I have a TON of catching up to do on this here blog...like my sisters wedding, couple of cabin trips, guess's new hair-do, our AWESOME summer family vacation, and so on! But just a sneak peek of the saddest thing that has happened since I have posted last...our little man broke his arm :( I'll do a post about the whole story later but Guess broke his distal radius and with a "dispicable me" sticker and one "dum-dum" lollipop later it was in a cast! Isn't that the saddest, yet cutest cast you have ever seen?! So anyways...many posts to come about our summer!(Please ignore Winn's creepy i'm-going-to-kill-you face in the corner of the picture...he was pretty sick of me taking pictures by this time!)

So these last couple of weeks included special occasions for both of my sisters...Ashley had her bridal shower and Sarah graduated from Gilbert High School! I am so happy for both of my sisters and could not ask for better sisters and friends than those two! Sisters really are the BEST thing ever!!!

easter weekend 2011...

We had a GREAT Easter weekend this year! It started out with a BBQ out at my Grandma Solomon's place on Friday! My grandma even had an easter egg hunt for the kids! It was so fun to see Guess go hunting for easter eggs for the first time! He was not as interested in finding the eggs as he was in opening the egg to see what was inside! Then at the BBQ we played some basketball, played on the swing, and played on the merry-go-round! Thanks Grandma Solomon for the great start to our Easter weekend!

Ha! He wouldn't crack a smile the whole time he was on it!Then on saturday we went to the PGA Golf store to finally buy Winn's birthday gift! We haven't had any time for him to go down and pick out the driver that he has been wanting so we finally did it! He was in heaven when he got that brand new driver! We also went out lunch to celebrate our anniversary because we were way too busy with school stuff to celebrate on our actual anniversary! The next day was Easter Sunday! It was so fun to see Guess find what the Easter bunny brought for him this year!

(I guess he doesn't have great depth perception yet because he will crawl down the smallest of steps to make sure he doesn't fall! Ha!)Checking out his goodies...At first he was excited to see all of his cool gifts...But then he realized that he was outside and he jetted past his easter basket thinking he was free to roam around!So the Easter Bunny brought Guesser some new toothbrushes...A big ball...(his last one went flat so the easter bunny brought a replacement!)Some new books...Some bubbles...And a slinky which he LOVES!!So after church and after the Easter Bunny came to our house, we went over to my parents for dinner!

Three years ago (April 18th, 2008) I married my best friend in the Mesa, Arizona Temple For Time & All Eternity!!!Winn & I were talking the other day and couldn't believe that it has already been 3 years but then we were saying at the same time how it feels like we have been married for so much longer...I am so grateful for the great husband and dad that Winn is! I cannot believe how fast time is flying by right now...(Not in regards to schooling because that is NOT flying by but as far as Guess growing up, yea that is flying by!) Anyways...I was holding my little nephew today and Guess came up to me and I realized just how big and old he is now compared to my little nephew...so I was looking through some pictures of when Guesser was a little baby and came across these pictures and they made me laugh! I love the "sneezing" sequence of pictures I caught in there! Ha...he was 2 months old in these and now he is almost 16 months old...Seriously where has the time gone???(p.s. you can click on the picture to make it bigger because he is making some pretty funny faces in some of those pictures!)

So I was looking through the pictures on my computer and realized that there were some really cute and fun ones of Guess and our family that I haven't posted about before...So enjoy the cuteness of our little man below!

Driving with daddy...Guess with a "whipped cream" goatee...what happens at grandma's stays at grandma's!!! Ha!Guess LOVES to play basket ball with daddy! He will go and get the basketball and wait for Winn to pick him up and then he will shoot the ball! It is so cute to watch!He makes it everytime! Ha!Fell asleep at Grandma Denham's like this Guess is at that age where he is not quite in nursery yet but doesn't like to sit still and so he is good for sacrament meeting but then after that he just wants to roam the halls...and that is what we do! Makes doing our callings hard but only 2 more months and he gets to go to nursery!When I have time away from school Guess and I love to walk to the park! He loves the swings and the slide!We were eating dinner the other night and Guess was loving his spaghetti and then the next thing we know he went from this...To this...in seriously two minutes!Guess also LOVES hats right now...He doesn't care whose hat it is, he will put it on his head!At his 15 month checkup at the doctors he was 22 lbs. and 32 inches long....Tall and skinny just like his daddy!I had made Guess some oatmeal for breakfast and I sat it on the table while I ran to the bathroom real quick and I came back to this...He thought he was so funny! I couldn't help but laugh at the boy!He thought he would help to clean up the mess...We went to the mall after my lab a couple of fridays back and Guess rode on the dinosaur on the carousal!Then he played at the little play area at the mall and absolutely LOVED it! In between sessions of general conference on Saturday my sister and I went and played volleyball in my parents back yard and Guess put my sister's boots on! It was hilarious to watch him try and walk in those things!This is Guess and Connor (my youngest sister's boyfriend) at his mission open house. He leaves this Wednesday to Oregon and we will all miss him! Especially Guess because he loves Connor if you couldn't tell by that smile!Guess is in to climbing onto anything and everything...I now have to move all the chairs away from the table or anything else for that matter or else this happens...This boy is seriously not afraid of anything...(well except the dark because he HAS to have his night light in his room or else he cannot sleep! ha!)Poor Guess was sick this whole last weekend...double ear infection :( this is seriously how he was all weekend...just wanted to snuggle and could barely smile...poor boy! But we loved the snuggle time!So back in February, Winn and I went to the Phoenix Open golf tournament...Winn is obsessed with golf and so he was in heaven!!!These guys were my favorite to watch! They were the "QUITE" sign guys and man did they take their job seriously! Whenever a golfer was ready to hit the ball, they would hold up those signs and give you death looks if you even made a peep...they were quite entertaining!Winn with one of the "QUITE" sign guys...It was perfect weather for being outside all day...So anyways...that is kinda what we have been up to lately...some of the pictures of Guesser were too cute not to post!

Spring Break 2011!!!

So this post is a little late but here is what our spring break consisted of this year. The week of spring break was my first week of being able to be a mommy again! For those of you who don't know, I have been doing an internship for my school for the last 6 weeks that consisted of working 40 hour weeks at a physical therapy clinic. So to sum it all up, it was a GREAT experience and i learned a ton but I am definitely glad to be back to my normal lifestyle of being a mommy/wife. I have no idea how moms are able to work full time, cook, clean and do everything else that a mom/wife does. I found it almost impossible to work full time + keep up with all of the housework + keep up with school work on top of that. To say the least these last 6 weeks have been extremely crazy! We are so grateful and fortunate to have great family who all pitched in to watch Guess throughout the 6 weeks and I am so grateful for them and the great babysitters that they were. Unfortunately I have to do this 2 more time with 2 more 6-week internships but then I will graduate and become an official PTA!!! Can't wait for that time to come because I am sooooooo over school! ha!...so anyways.... our spring break started off with a picnic to freestone park to feed the ducks and have some much needed family time! we picked up some ned's krazy subs and ate dinner while watching the sunset!Guess would have jumped in the water with the ducks if we had let him...we had to keep a constant barrier between him and the water! Ha!Definitely missed not getting to spend all my time with this little man for the last 6 weeks...Love this pic of my two loves looking at the ducks!So spring break continued with a little self-pampering! I got my hair done which is always a treat! I love this pic of Guess with some of his cousins while I was getting my hair "blondified"!!Then my friend Mandy and I used our gift cards that our husbands gave us for valentine's day to get pedicures and go out to lunch at Paradise Bakery! Yum Yum! Winn watched the kids while we went and got some cute pics of the babes! Guess and Kenna...Too Cute!The next part of our spring break was a trip to CALIFORNIA!!! The whole trip was way too fun and we were so sad to have to come home and face the reality of school and work again :( Me & my little guy on the way to cali!!!Gave him a piece of licorice for the first time...I think he liked it!!!We went straight to the beach when we got to cali!1st time at the beach! He thought he was so sneaky and would look back to see if we were watching before trying to run into the ocean...We had to keep running after him to bring him back to the beach where he would start all over again!As you can see he LOVED the beach...sand and all!My favorite 2 boys!!! Below is Winn doing his best impression of a "Baywatch Babe" running out of the water...he had a few people on the beach checking him out while he was doing this! HA! He loved it!As we were walking along the beach, we saw this inside surfing place and so we went over to take a look. It was pretty awesome and Winn totally wanted to try it but you kind of had to be pretty good at it! Ha And Guess enjoyed watching it as well!So the next morning we were able to go and do a session at the San Diego Temple! Oh My Goodness! It was amazing! And lucky for us it was not very crowded so we got a personal tour of the whole temple when we were done with our session! It was absolutely amazing and we seriously did not want to leave because it was so peaceful and just beautiful!Love this guy!There are really no words to describe just how beautiful this temple is! It was amazing!So after the temple we went back to the hotel to pick up my two sisters and guess and we headed off to seaworld! Daddy and guess waiting for the seal show to start!The whole gang...minus my mom who was takin the pic...we had my parents, my two sisters and their two boyfriends all go with us to california!Guess loved hitting the glass and lookin at all that water!He was yelling at us!Funny story about these two...so my dad said he would take guess to see the wild arctic animals while the rest of us went on the wild arctic ride...well guess has this obsession with taking my dads pen out of his pocket and then replacing it. However, this time they just happen to be looking at the beluga whales when guess decided to take the pen out of papa's pocket and throw it in the water where the beluga whales were! So the workers had to dive in there and retrieve the pen that guess threw at the beluga whales and they gave it back to my dad....silly boy!!The famous beluga whale exhibit where guess threw a pen at them!Shamu...acutally I dunno if that really is shamu or if they are all just named shamu now! ha!Guess & Connor checking out the penguins!One of the funnest things about our vacation is that my sister Ashley got engaged!!! Chad proposed at the starfish exhibit and had the ring hiding under a starfish on his hand! It was so cute and I am soooo excited for Ashley and Chad!They are too cute!Playing with the starfish...The dolphin show...The whole gang...Seaworld wore guess out!!! He was asleep for probably the last 2 hours of seaworld!Winn being weird...We went out to eat for dinner after seaworld and we told the band that these two just got engaged and so they played a "romantic" song for them! It embarrassed them pretty bad! ha!So the next day of our vacation was spent at six flags!!! Thanks soooooo much to my parents for watching guess alllllll day so that all of us kids could go and have fun at six flags!Ok so they have changed the superman ride completely and it is now so much better!We kept running in to our friends the Stearmans at six flags and so that was fun to see people we knew!Yes...we are cool!Me and my love...All of us after a long but fun day at Six Flags!!!When sunday came around we all decided to go to the Mormon Battalion...it was pretty cool! So here are a few pics from that place...Riding a horse...Our little family...Then we went to the harbor and saw tons of big battle ships and cruise ships! It was fun to see!Ahhhh...precious!My family obviously likes to imitate statues! I think I have like three pics on this post alone of someone imitating a poster or statue! HA!Love this picture!Guess was so done with sitting in his carseat by the time we reached home sunday night...poor guy!So that sums up our amazing spring break! It was so fun to get to spend time with Winn and Guess all week long and not worry about school or work! :)

So 2 weekends ago winn, guess, and i went to winn's parents' cabin in heber to spend the weekend! it was so much fun and it even snowed while we were there! we watched movies, played ping-pong, took naps, played in the snow, drank a very large amount of hot chocolate, watched the NBA dunk contest, and drank more hot chocolate! it was so fun to snuggle up on the couch and watch it snowing out the windows! it was also nice to get a break from school and work and to spend time with our little family! there are probably a million and one pictures below so enjoy!

we forgot guess's highchair and so we improvised by using his carseat as a highchair... playing with the dumptruck...this boy is seriously ALWAYS smiling!watching daddy play grandpa in ping-pong!guess sure does love his grandpa!playing with the snow sleds...winn said he use to do this on his mission in new york down the sidewalks...believe me its much harder than it looks...i tried and just about fell on my back!daddy and grandma bundling guess up to go out in the snow!winn, guess, and i...running back into the garage to bundle up guess in a bigger jacket!guesser and mommy...check out those snow boots! love love love this picture!!!sittin in the sleds!grandma and guesser all bundled up...winn and i sledding down the hill!watching the NBA dunk contest...truly his daddy's boy!cute boy!the cabin...our car has never seen that much snow before!building our snowman... the final product...guess loved to knock the snow off from tree branches...he thought he was so funny!we wanted to build a 6-foot tall snowman but he only ended up being about half that tall! ha!my 2 loves!guess loved the snow as long as we didn't sit him down in it as you can see in the pic below! ha! he was not very happy with the cold-ness of the snow!this last few pics are just of our drive home...we seriously had to drive 15 mph for half the time because the snow was so bad and apparently the driver at the front of the line could not see his way. so i took pics of the pretty scenary to pass the time!we saw so many car accidents on the way home :(this is what we came home to...snow on the superstitions! it was so cool to see because it very rarely happens!

We had a great Valentine's Day this year! We celebrated it this last weekend since our Monday nights are usually filled with a ridiculous amount of homework! We went out to eat on Saturday night and then exchanged some little gifts! Winn gave me a a gift card to go and get a pedicure and a gift card to Paradise Bakery (yum-yum) to have a little "me" time! He is just too stinkin' sweet and cute!And I gave Winn a "real" golfer's hat (he has been wanting one for a while!)And a mini ping pong table (i swear if Winn could make a career out of playing ping pong he would totally do it! He loves it that much!)Guess got some yummy goodies from both of his Grandma's that I forgot to take pictures of before they got mysteriously eaten in one night! (It may or may not have been me...but we will just say it wasn't to make me feel better! ha!) I am so grateful for my "valentine"! He is seriously the best husband I could ever ask for and he spoils me like crazy! Love you Winn!Oh and I can't forget my "little" valentine Guess!Eating a valentine's treat before going to bed last night...great parenting I know!!! Ha!They were fighting over the last bite! These two are seriously the loves of my life and I am so grateful that I can be their wife/mommy!

Crawling No More!!!

Since our little man thinks he is such a big boy, he has decided to start walking!!! He has known how to walk for a few months now but has always preferred to either crawl or ride his Lightning McQueen car to get to where he wanted to go. But for some reason today he just decided he was gonna walk everywhere he went and so I guess crawling is a thing of the past now for Guesser!!! Haircut...

A few weeks ago Guess got a haircut! This was like his 3rd or 4th haircut already and he was such a good boy throughout the whole time he was getting it cut! I just had some cute pictures of it that I had to post for everyone to see!I think he likes the way the clippers feel on his head or something cause he was just laughing and smiling the whole time she was buzzing the back of his head! There was obviously a game on the tv because Winn and Guess look like they are trying to concentrate hard on it! Ha!Oh and just a random little story...the other day Winn and I were just chillin in the family room and we see Guess drive in on his "Lightning McQueen" and we see this...He had taken the lid off of the trash can and had somehow gotten it stuck around him and his car and he thought he was so funny because he couldn't move the car very well. Gotta love this little boy! I know we sure do! :)

So for some reason my computer has not been letting my upload these family pictures until now and so that is why this post is from a while back but anyways...a few weeks ago when both of my brothers and their families were here for Thanksgiving, we got family pictures taken. This was the first time that we have gotten family pictures taken without someone in a wedding dress! So here are a bunch of pictures of my cute family!All of the Denham grandkids! New Years Eve!

We spent this last new year's eve with Winn's family and it was so fun! Every year Winn's parents have new year's eve party for all of the grandkids so that the parents can go out and party without the kids. However, the rule is that the kids have to be potty trained to attend and so Guess got to spend the night with us instead of all his cousins and grandpa and grandma Workman. Maybe next year...actually probably not till the year after that! ha! Anyways...the night started out with dinner at Olive Garden. So delish! Our attempts at self family pictures never quite turn out as planned! Ha!At Olive Garden!Then we all went over to Winn's brother's house where we played games and wii and ate way too much junk food. Guess was out before we even got to Winn's brother's house!Then at midnight we went outside and set off fireworks!It was so fun but sooo cold outside!Hope everyone had a great new years!!!

Christmas 2010!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic Christmas this year! It was a little different than the last few years in that we did the majority of the usual Christmas traditions with just Winn, Guess, and I instead of with one of our families and we absolutely loved it. It was so fun to spend time together with just our little family and start some of our own traditions that will hopefully be carried on throughout the years to come. Our Christmas celebration started out Christmas Eve when Winn, Guess, and I enjoyed a nice roast and mashed potatoes dinner! And of course you cannot forget the Martinelle's just to make the whole thing a little bit fancy! It was all super delicious if I do say so myself! Ha! So after we ate dinner and got it all cleaned up, we opened up our one Christmas Eve present which was none other than a new pair of pajamas!

Unwrapping his Christmas Eve present...Both Winn and I had traditions growing up that we would open up one gift on Christmas Eve and it was always a new pair of pajamas! So we decided to carry on that tradition now that we have a family of our own!Christmas 2010 in our new pajamas!!!Cute Christmas Eve Pajamas!After we put Guess to bed, my two sisters came over and we played with the wii for hours until probably one or so in the morning! It was so fun! But we finally decided to go to bed so that we could get to Christmas morning faster!

Winn patiently waiting for Guesser to wake up on Christmas morning!But as you can see... Guess was in no hurry to wake up Christmas morning! Ha!It was so fun to have lots of presents under our tree this year...it is funny how having one baby quadruples the amount of gifts under your Christmas tree! Haha!Our stockings on Christmas morning...Going through our stockings...We all got so many fun things and so here are a ton of pictures showing what all we got!

Winn's Gifts: Lots and Lots of CANDY (he is a complete candy addict just in case you did not know!), a new remote control for the TV, a hot hoops game (you know the ones from when you were like 8 years old!), new running shoes, frisbee golf discs, and gift cards to different golf courses.Holly's Gifts: New workout shoes, new speaker for our car, cute ASU sweater, extremely CUTE watch, VERY VERY cute high heels, and some much NOT needed candy! Ha!Guess's Gifts: ASU baseball and bat, lots and lots of clothes, beanie, mittens, book about colors, socks, a big boy carseat, a ginormous box filled with balloons, dump truck from Grandpa and Grandma Workman, and a turtle toy that sings and counts, sunday outfit, and spiderman blanket from Grandpa and Grandma Denham. He got pretty spoiled this year!!!Family Gifts: 8-man tent, 5-gallon water jug, an ice chest, and a HUGE quilt all from my parents, and a cute santa clock and lots of food storage from Winn's parents. Plus lots of fun cards and goodies from other family members and friends! Thank you to everyone who gave us such wonderful gifts and things! We appreciate them all and are so grateful for everything!

Winn unwrapping his favorite gift from this Christmas...Guess loved his new baseball and bat...he loves to carry the bat around and hit things with it!Unwrapping more clothes...he didn't think these were as fun to unwrap as all of the toys that he was getting! ha!His new book about colors...He likes to point with his finger now and so he is pointing to his new dump truck from Grandpa and Grandma Workman!Guess's last gift from us was a HUGE box filled with tons of balloons! He absolutely loved this!This box of balloons was HUGE...as you can see it was even taller than Guess!He loved opening all of his presents and playing with the wrapping paper and bows!Our beautiful new quilt from my parents...notice the DENIM side! ha!Guess's new turtle from Grandpa and Grandma Denham!New blanket made by Grandma Denham!Guess is finally old enough to ride in his BIG BOY carseat! Not so little anymore...

On December 17th, our little babe turned ONE year old...and this is what I woke up to on his birthday!I cannot believe that he is already one. It honestly makes me a little sad that he is not a baby anymore and is officially a toddler. I cannot believe that he has been ours for a whole year. He is seriously the sweetest little boy I know and we cannot imagine life without this little man. He brings Winn and I such joy everyday and we just love him sooo much! It is hard to even say how much we love this little boy! He is so special and I am just so glad he chose us to be his parents.

So we celebrated the majority of his birthday on Saturday, the next day, when Winn and I threw him a birthday party!!! So enjoy all of the pics below from Guess's 1st birthday!

The party guests which included Guess's grandparents on both sides, many of his aunts and uncles, lots and lots of his cousins, and some of his friends!Us with the Stearmans! Kenna is Guess's best friend/girl friend! Haha :)We had badminton and boccie ball set up for everyone to play and it was so fun!Birthday Boy!At the party we ate lunch and dessert...We had taco salad and it was delish!Then for dessert, my mom and I made a ton of banana bread cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting!It was a total experiment that turned out delicious! We also had some chocolate cupcakes along with some cherry chip cupcakes so that everybody would have something that they would like! Winn wanted Guess's party to have a sports theme and so I decorated the cupcakes as different sports balls and I LOVE the way that they all turned out! They were SO cute!Next up was Guess eating his first cake! My mom and I made an awesome baseball cake that turned out so cute! So below is before Guess destroyed it! HaHaThen this was after Guess got his hands on the cake! Because it MIGHT take you that long to get through this post! HA! This last week or two has been filled with all kinds of fun for our family! So once again this is gonna be a LONG post jammed packed with pictures! It all started off with decorating our house for Christmas a couple of weeks ago. We had planned on setting up our tree when I got home from lab one day but when I came home from a super long day at school, Winn had already gotten the Christmas tree up for us! He is such a sweetie! So here are some of our pictures of decorating our house for Christmas a.k.a. the MOST WONDERFUL time of the year!

His hands get so cold for some reason and so we put socks on them to keep them warm. Needless to say, real mittens are going to be under the tree for him this year!So last week started off with a trip to the temple lights with our friends the Burns.

Guess was more interested in the lights behind us than in taking a family picture! HA!It was so amazing to see that the temple had even more lights than last year if that were even possible! It was beautiful but way crowded. I absolutely LOVE the tree in the visitor's center and so we had to get a picture in front of it! Guess wasn't too thrilled about it if you couldn't tell!Next up for our Christmas fun was a trip to see Santa!!!Guess was such a good boy and didn't even cry when I sat him on Santa's lap! My friend Mandy and her daughter Kenna went with us and we had such a fun time hanging out in the Winter Wonderland that the Bass Pro Shop had set up all around Santa!Love this picture! He is such a goof!Cute Boy!Guess really loved Santa when he gave him a candy cane!Seriously if you have not gotten a picture of your kids with Santa yet go here! They give you a free 4X6 of your child and it was not crowded at all! Plus you could take your own pictures too...So anyways this was Guess's first experience with meeting Santa! After meeting Santa, we met up with our husbands and went to the temple lights again and then to QT for some delicious hot chocolate! These trees are my favorite at the temple lights!Notice how NOT crowded it is!The temple was way less crowded than the first time we went and so the lights were even more amazing!me & winnThe next day was my birthday and I turned the big 23! Man, I am getting old! Ha! So my birthday started out by going to lunch with my mom and sister Ashley! We went to Joe's BBQ... Yum Yum! So delish! Anyways, then we went Christmas shopping for most of the day.! Winn told me that he was gonna take me out to dinner with just the two of us and Guesser boy for my birthday but when we got to Buffalo Wild Wings, he had a surprise waiting there for me! Winn had a bunch of our friends meet there as a surprise for my birthday dinner! He is one sneaky guy!I had absolutely NO idea they would all be there and it was so fun to spend my birthday with our friends! Guess loves him some celery!Notice my cute shirt and jeans!!! (Birthday gifts from Winn & Guess)I got so many fun things for my birthday! I got these amazingly cute jeans and shirt from my hubby and Guesser that I am wearing in my birthday pics! I got a cute candle and a bottle of sparkling cider from my friend Mandy and then my parents gave me some new and may I add much needed garments, two adorable shirts, and an AWESOME scrapbooking program for my computer. With this program I was able to make this little beauty!!!This is our Christmas card this year! I love this new program and can't wait to find something else to make! I had such a great birthday and thanks to everyone for making it so great!

This last weekend we went to Cherry St. where there is an amazing neighborhood where everybody decks their houses out with Christmas decorations and lights. It is pretty sweet!Guess all bundled up!So sorry once again for the forever long post but I had to get all caught up before Christmas comes! Oh and I totally did not mention that our little Guess has turned ONE just two days after my birthday!!! I was going to put that whole event in this post but then you would have needed a day to read it so be watching for his birthday post because there are TONS of cute pics from his birthday party!!! :)

My thanksgiving post that is! ha...I hate getting behind on my blog because then my posts end up being 14 years long...but I have done it again and so lots of pics are ahead! This year for thanksgiving, we had a jammed-packed weekend! Both of my brothers came down from utah with their families and so we spent the entire weekend with the Denham family! It all started with wednesday night...this is when my brother Jason blessed their sweet little boy Cole. This baby is seriously probably the happiest and most smiley baby I have ever seen! So our friends the Baxter's gave us a little dining room table and 4 matching chairs because they were getting a new table/chairs set and knew that we were using just a card table to eat off of. So when I saw the new table and chairs I immediately wanted to re-do them! I was going to paint them black (because they were a light brown color and I am all about the DARK colored wood furniture) and then antique them and also reupholster them! I had good intentions...almost 2 years ago! So 2 years later I have just gotten around to re-doing this lovely table/chairs set and I have to say...I am extremely excited about the final results! My husband does not appreciate the hard work and sweat and tears (little dramatic I know) that has gone in to re-doing the table and chairs because to him a table is a table is a table and he could care less what it looks like. He does say it looks "cool" but was just not as excited about it as I was. So I wanted to share it with everyone else and show it off!!! So for Guess's 1st halloween he was...Can you tell that dad chose his costume?!(Winn is probably the world's biggest ASU fan if you didn't know)ha...we all actually went as a family of ASU sparkys! So our halloween festivities started last monday at the Workman family halloween party. Winn and I didn't dress up for this party because Winn had to be late to it because of work...so our costume debuts are coming up later in this post...but anyways here are a few cute pics of our little sparky on his 1st halloween cause that is the costume that really matters right?!!!Guess's costume was complete with a pitchfork, horns, a tail, and a sparky tattoo on his hand! Oh and cool eyeblack stickers with the ASU logo on them! Just like the real ASU baseball players! ha!Love those cute little dimples!
This next pic makes me smile every time I see it! He is being so gentle with his brand new cousin just holding his hand and looking at him! So precious!Guesser and grandma Workman!Guess was in love with this inflatable snow globe thing in the yard! He loved looking at the ghosts inside of it!Our halloween festivities continued on friday when we went to our ward party, my parents ward party and a haunted house with our friends the Stearman's! Pumpkin Carving!

Last night we had our good friends the Stearman's over to carve pumpkins! But before we could start carving we had to go to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin. So here are some fun pictures of the whole night! This is Guess's first Halloween and so as you can imagine there are a ton of pictures!!! So enjoy!Guess was not too happy when we took his pumpkin away and didn't buy it for him!But as you can see he got over it pretty quickly!Don't let Guesser's face fool ya in this next pic...he really was having a good time even though his face says otherwise!!This was such a gross looking pumpkin! Winn wanted to buy this one but I was not going to be carving into a pumpkin that looks like a giant butt!This is what you get when you tell Guess to smile...he sticks his tongue out at you!So after we had found our pumpkins, we went back to our house to start carving them! The boys cleaned them out...The girls carved them...And the kiddos just played the whole time!Guess wanted to help daddy out a little bit with the cleaning part!And now for the BIG revealing of the pumpkins...It was such a fun night and we are glad that we could enjoy the night with our friends!

You would seriously think that Guess is being raised by monkeys the way he climbs up onto anything & everything! I was just doing school work the other day and then I looked over at Guess in the other room and he had managed to climb up onto the dishwasher that was left open...Crazy Boy!

Then Winn & I were eating dinner the other night and we looked over only to see that Guess had not only climbed up onto the couch but has also climbed to the very top of it to play with those dang blinds...I swear this boy is fearless! It definitely scares mom more than it scares him! ha!

So I realized as I was just looking through some of our pictures this morning on the computer that there are so many cute ones of our little Guesser that I haven't posted up on the blog from the past few weeks. So below are just a ton of random and cute pics of our little man and our family!

Guess is a boy who can fall asleep anywhere at anytime as demonstrated below! He has this new thing of falling asleep sitting up during naptime so then he will slouch over like in the first few pics. It does not look comfortable! Don't worry though, I always go and change his position after he has fallen asleep and after I have gotten a picture or two! Ha!Bath Time!!! Guess is so stinkin' funny in the bathtub...he splashes water from the time he gets in until I am pulling him out and wrapping a towel around him! He LOVES water!These next ones are from like 2 months ago when Guess was first learning how to pull himself up on the couch. It was so cute to see how he figured this out. He would first crawl over to the couch, then look at me to make sure I was watching, then get on his tippy toes, and then would pull himself up to standing! So cute!Just some cute RaNdOmNeSS!!!Guess was wanting his bottle really bad in this first picture that he didn't even care that his milk splashed all over his face before actually going into his mouth! He has also become a golf addict! Like father like son I guess! His new thing is also sticking out his tongue..So cute!These next ones were at Guess's "girlfriend" Kenna's birthday party! It is so cute to see these 2 together! Once when we were playing games with the Stearmans, we looked over at the kids and Mackenna was sucking on Guess's binky and Guess was sucking on Mackenna's toe. So sad that I didn't have the camera because it was priceless! Oh and FYI, Mandy and I are in the PTA program together and that is how we met!He was loving the balloons! Loves to play with his laundry basket! Daddy also put his glasses on Guess and he totally reminded me of that kid off of Jerry Maguire! I think his name is Little Nicki!
Diaper Head!
Swimming with Kenna! So funny that they both had the same floaty thing!Guess in his BIG boy highchair! Finally got one so now we will not have anymore accidents with the bumbo!A while ago we were watching some of Winn's nieces and nephews and so we took them to freestone park for a picnic and to feed the ducks. It was so fun and Guesser loved looking at the ducks all around him!
So we went out to eat to Texas Roadhouse after the priesthood session with our good friends Jeff and Mandy Stearman. It was so fun and yummy!Our little family!Guess looks like he is getting ready to jump out of a plane or something when he is all hooked into his highchair cover! ha!So I took our car to get serviced and washed the other day and Guess thought it was the coolest thing to see the car go through the wash! He was seriously entertained for a while watching those cars get washed! ha!

So...after 2 1/2 years, Winn and I finally got our wedding pictures and they are AMAZING! I know its ridiculous, but we have been putting this off because it was soooo expensive to purchase just the disc with all of our wedding and engagement pics on it. But Winn and I (well mostly me) decided that we just need to suck it up and buy the disc because those are priceless memories that will NEVER happen again...So after some negotiating and a few hundred dollars later we got our pictures!!! I am so excited and I have already gone online and made an entire book with all the pictures in it and am just waiting for it to come in the mail! So here are some of the pics from our wedding photshoot! I tried to group them together so that I would not have a million pictures on this post so sorry if they are too small to even see. Over The River And Through The Woods...

To grandmother's house we go!!! So my in-laws just bought a beautiful cabin up in the heber/overgaurd area! They have been wanting to do this for years and so we are so glad that they finally got their dream cabin! We all went up this last weekend to see the new cabin and we all had so much fun! We went shooting, played games, watched the ASU game (which was disappointing I might add), Winn went golfing, I went shopping! The whole weekend was full of fun and we can't wait until we can go back! Here are just a few pictures of our weekend!
Can you tell that our nieces and nephews like the Disney channel? ha!Winn and I shot pretty good for very rarely ever going! Winn hit about 4 clay pigeons and I hit about 8!

I was better at the shotgun but Winn was better with the handgun for sure! He was hitting the targets like they were nobodies business!The Workman's beautiful cabin!Shopping made Guesser really tired!Daddy and Guess being silly!Winn likes to scare me as much as possible! Guess loved it though and thought that he was really funny being up that high!My two boys sound asleep! So cute!This is the view from the family room! Unfortunately ME...This last monday I experienced my first trip to urgent care as a mom. I always wondered how I would react if something were to happen to Guess and let me just say, I was a mess! So here is the story...I was doing homework at the computer and feeding Guess some breakfast at the same time. He was sitting in his "bumbo" (if you do not know what those are then google it or something because they are pretty sweet!) anyways...he was sitting in his bumbo on top of one of our dining room chairs. He had finished eating his breakfast and was just sitting there playing with the spoon and so I turned back to the computer to continue working on school stuff. Next thing I know, Guess is screaming his head off and is on the ground and the bumbo was across the room. I hurried and picked him up worried that I would see tons of blood or something because he fell about 3 feet. Luckily there was no blood, at least right away, and so I just snuggled him and when I looked at his face again there was blood all over him and me. This is when I started to flip out. Instead of being calm and relaxed like I should have been, I was freaking out and crying and running around trying to find my phone to call my mom because of course she would know what to do! So I called my mom and she said to try to find where the blood was coming from and it was coming from his lips. So she said to get a cold wet rag and let him suck on it to collect all of the blood and then she was on her way over to our house. By the time she got there, Guess was being really lethargic and snugly which is not like our little man at all. So we were worried that he might have hit his head really hard and had a concussion or something. Also when we put him down to crawl after he calmed down a bit, he was favoring his right arm and that was the side he fell on. So as the paranoid-first-time-mom that I am, I decided to take him to urgent care to get checked out because I would rather be safe then sorry. To make an already long story short, we went to urgent care, Guess was fine, just a little bruised and swollen and tender to the touch but no other damage! So that is why I win the bad mom of the year award and we will definitely be buying a "real" highchair as soon as we can!His little face was so swollen... I felt soooooo bad :(Sucking on this washrag made everything feel better! Oh and lots of tylenol!Poor boy :(

Date Night!!!

So every weekend Winn takes me (and Guess) out on a date on either friday, saturday or both! Not this last weekend but the one before, he switched things up on me and instead of the usual out to eat he took me to play at Peter Piper Pizza! (Yes, a 22 and 24 year old went to PPP to play games! ha!) Anyways, we went to eat dinner at Paradise Bakery which was delish!!! Then we went to PPP to play the ski ball, air hockey, and basketball shooting games!It was pretty fun and it was nice to get my mind off of school for a while. With all of the tickets that we won from the games, Winn bought a woopie cushion, REAL mature I know! ha! Winn and I were not the only ones having fun though! Guess had fun riding this little carousel that was there. It is way too cute! He was like a little pro with his hands on the handle bars, which he put up there all by himself!After PPP, we went to Bahama Bucks for some delicious shaved ice! It was so fun to spend time with my awesome little family! This last weekend I had lab all day friday, saturday, and sunday. On the weekends that I have lab, I am usually totally overwhelmed by saturday night trying to study for the next days lab practical and am just a mess! This is because we learn all of the material on friday, practice it on saturday, and then are tested on it on sunday. Well this last saturday, I came home to some beautiful flowers from Winn because he knows how stressful these lab weekends can be for me. I was especially having a hard day on saturday and seeing him with those flowers just made my day! Aren't they beautiful?!!He is such a sweetie and I am so grateful for him being such a great "Mr. Mom" every other weekend while I am at my labs!

My baby sister Sarah! She just turned 17 on Monday, August 30th and so we just wanted to give her a little shout out! So HaPpy BiRtHdAy SaRaH!!! We love you and hope you had an awesome birthday! (Sorry this whole post is a couple of days late...but I think you might be the first birthday shout out I have ever done so you should feel honored!!!)Sarah is such a cute and fun girl and we are so glad that she is our sister/aunt!!!

So its almost 1 o'clock in the morning and I have about 8 hours before my final exam in pathology and I should really really really be studying but I am SOOO sick of reading about diseases, signs and symptoms, treatments and looking at pictures that make me wanna throw up most of the time! Seriously, I believe the book when it says there are worms in people's intestines and don't need a picture to prove it! ha...anyways...the computer looked way too tempting to play on and blog! Plus I realized that Guess has turned another month old so ill get everyone up to date on what an awesome little man he is! :) He is an incredibly fast crawler!I will turn the corner to go into the kitchen or something and before I know it, I turn around and almost trip on him because he caught up with me already! He is standing up on anything and everything. Guesser has 6 teeth with the 7th on the way. He LOVES his daddy! He will talk your ear off as long as you keep talking back! He loves to play with cardboard boxes!Thanks aunt ashley for this one!He is still doing good on eating his veggies! Sweet potatoes are a "must have" for him! He looks like he is trying to decide if he should make this difficult for dad or not!
I went in to his room the other morning to find this...pulled himself up in his crib! Not only this though...he also had a ton of lovely bite marks all over the railing...I'm thinking it is time to lower that mattress!
He likes to help me with the laundry! Actually let me re-phrase that... he likes to pull the ALREADY folded clothes out of the basket. Guesser got his very first "goose egg" on his head at church this last sunday. He was in primary with me and as he pulled himself up on one of the chairs, he lost balance and hit his head...He hit it pretty hard and there was a huge bump to prove it!Guess is seriously one of the happiest babies I know and we are so blessed and thankful to have him in our family and our home! He brings such a special spirit to our home and we just love him to pieces!!

It's Official!!!

Our little man is officially crawling...the right way! For the last couple of months he has been getting around just fine by either army crawling or rolling but now he is officially crawling the right way!It is so cute to see him crawling and exploring but not so cute when he gets into my decorations and stuff. Below are pictures of his favorite thing to do right now...Grab a decorative ball out of my basket thing...Push the ball somewhere...Go and find the ball...And then do it all over again! He does this for up to an hour sometimes! ha!I can't believe how fast he is growing up! He is now 7 1/2 months and just got his 6th tooth! He also decided that crawling wasn't enough of an accomplishment for one week and so within the SAME week of starting to crawl he pulled himself up to standing on the couch and in his crib! He is growing up way too fast and I sometimes miss my little baby boy who wanted to snuggle with me. But now I absolutely love my BIG boy who keeps me on my toes all day long!

The rest of the pictures are just random ones of Guess and what he does all day long while I am on the computer doing boring, no fun, school work! I would much rather be playing with Guess all day long!Winn loves that he can do the "standing on the hand" trick with Guess now! And Guess doesn't seem to mind it much either!Guess also got his first haircut about a month ago!He was so good for the entire haircut! Probably because we started it when he was asleep! HA! Everyone who walked by had to stop and look at him because they thought it was hilarious!
